BELIEVE!!

Believe in GOD and His power!! Going through this small business adventure for the past year has, at times, brought me to points where I don't want to believe... Satan has put up a great fight with me and I know we have been in the ring daily... However, I KNOW GOD WILL PREVAIL!! Along with Him he will bring me!! God is molding me, and yes it is painful at times, excruciating!!! So tense there are moments where I do forget it is Him working on me... I forget God is God and let my mind race and run wild with crazy doubts and fears... SATAN IS TO BLAME FOR THIS!!!! Then, there are those AMAZING moments when I remember, not because I choice to, but because GOD reaches out to me and pulls me back... those moments when God shows me HE is ALWAYS here... ALWAYS watching, listening, loving me... It is in those moments that I find peace, reassurance, confidence, HOPE!!! One of those recent moments goes something like this... At our business things are tight... I don't even know how we will pay the electrical bill... however, God has told us to tithe, give Him a portion of our money... it is HIS after all...! This is something we do regularly with our personal finances; however, have never done with the business... Quite honestly, I didn't know where to begin... I'm not sure we are making a dime... So, what am I to give??? K-Love has been doing a pledge-a-thon this past week and I was listening to the radio... Needing 1 more business pledge to meet the goal set, I decided to not assume 1 other business owner from the millions around the US would call and fulfill this pledge, I called and made a pledge... A few days later at church I was sitting in our Sunday School class next to a couple I had never met before... after class the wife and I got to talking and sharing a little about each of our lives... I mentioned I owned a business and gave her the name... She IMMEDIATELY said... "You are KATIE!!!" Surprised and wondering if being "Katie" was a good or bad thing at this particular moment I said "yeeeeeeesss" This woman's face illuminated and she got so excited, because on that day I made the pledge to K-Love she was listening to the radio and heard that "Katie" from High Maintenance Day Spa and Salon in Conway, AR had pledge to give to K-Love!!! She was so excited and grateful for my contributions... she was already planning on coming by to visit and give us her business!!! God knows what we need and what we want.... HE is always here and has a plan so intricate and detailed we cannot imagine... God placed Melody in my life to encourage and reassure me!! He created that little moment in time... It is moments like this that keep me going... Times when God shows His mighty power and work to me that make me BELIEVE!!! He is REAL!! He is HERE!! He is the ONLY way!!! Just BELIEVE and He will set you free from so much more than these worldly problems we create for ourselves.... Just by BELIEVING!!
